Retro edition! Stuff that got me into games. I never owned a console until we got a family Wii (unless you count a Game Boy Color/Advance).
Honorable mentions:
Prehistorik, Epic Pinball, basically all the SCUMM games like Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

I thought I could re-order these so the sorting isn't quite right, but - love all of those games.
Black Mesa is in there because I do think it improved on Half-Life, but spiritually, Half-Life counts equally (especially since it's the game that got me into FPS in ~2000).
