Sigh. Kinda miss those days. Things were simpler.

Right?! If you're not white, straight, Christian, and able-bodied they barely see you as human let alone a U.S. citizen.
Wow! You ran an engineering company!
"stand back, I'm about to make some shit up." LOL!
Applied mathematics is great! Far more creative than the theoretical stuff that you have no idea where it fits in the world.
And they're a bunch of narcissistic liars!
~ Trump bombing Iran and killing a bunch of kids... a-okay!
~ ICE terrorizing people and separating families... a-okay!
~ January 6th... a-okay!
~ Tantrum Tariffs... a-okay!
~ All the pardons for shitty-ass people... a-okay!
Mamdani sitting peacefully with the people of New York... he's the ENEMY!!
I'm in Computer Information Systems. I mainly teach web design and programming classes.
Philosophy, economics, and applied mathematics... that's an interesting range!
I have never felt like a true academician. Mostly I wash dishes by hand and let them air dry ; )
This sounds like some of my internal rants towards students.
Yours is funnier!
Yes! For sure! Prior to that there was a much better balance between online classes and on-campus classes. Most of my classes since then have been online.
It wouldn't surprise me if there were a cost motive fueling it!
I had 10 yrs of on-campus teaching prior to the explosion of online classes. At first I thought it was the greatest thing!! Now I know without a doubt how detrimental it is to student growth.
I wish I could go back in time and never teach online!
Those first 10 yrs were golden. I miss those days.
100%. How to get along with others and share resources in a shared living environment extends to other areas of life!
The college I teach at is a ghost town compared to what it once was. There used to be students everywhere, activities, clubs, etc.
You'll never be able to replicate the in-person college experience via online classes. Kids will never know the dynamics and magic they're missing out on. Makes me sad.
Dear Anna Indiana, f*ck off with your "I hope you like it." You have no capability to hope or feel anything.
And the person who created this, you can f*ck off too. What a stupid and terrible use of AI when it has such a high environmental footprint and likely involves theft of intellectual property
LOL!! The last line made me laugh out loud!
Great story!
The wind alone did that? Or did it blow debri into his eyes?
I hope he stays home today!
OMG. I'm so sorry. I didn't even think about that.
I just had this image of you and your husband laying on the ground trying to avoid the wind and it looked comical in my head.
I'm so sorry for laughing.
Ugh. I hate when I put my foot in my mouth.
Last week I received a business email and the first thing in the email was "It's important that you thoroughly read this entire email. Please do not use AI to summarize it. AI often gets it wrong and misses important details."
What the fuck?!
#fuckAI
LOL!! That is so funny!!
Last week I ran in 15 mph winds and I was dying by the end.
What is up with all the wind?!
Oh yep... the random socks on the floor from my daughter.
I plan on registering also!!
#teamBear
Maybe he calls everyone Jake when he doesn't know their name?
Glad you came back safe!
I ran 10 miles in the wind this morning. π¨πββοΈ
And now I might need a 5-hour nap.
Oh no!
My daughter watched a youtube video for the proper way to cut pineapple.
But just picking one up from the grocery store for her subjects me to being potentially stabbed!!
Every fucking day is horrible news.
And yes, definitely a bunch of weirdos!
We already know the majority of them are delusional with their bizarre conspiracy theories. So it's not shocking that their delusions extend to more "not real" stuff.
