i had the panera drink membership for a couple of months because $4 a month is way cheaper than daily canned energy drinks so i have both done the math and experienced drinking 600mg in lemonade form in 1 day just because i could 😭 i miss my lemonade

mind you starbies app just kind of lets you order an espresso with 12 shots of espresso which is around 1000mg of caffeine which is like drinking 3+ of the larger size charged lemonades
i dont disagree that the labelling and serving(free self serve refills to all) were not ideal but but i expect more caffeine from a "charged" drink w caffeine on the sign at eye level more than "holy shit the custom starbies order i copied from online has 400+mg of caffeine"
at least iirc. i don't recall the numbers but i did compare out of curiosity before they killed my drink
scaling for drink size, the panera lemonade was not that huge in caffeine content compared to canned drinks. its just that you can sit in the restaurant and drink as much as you want especially if you don't read the sign
im surprised there aren't more starbucks deaths. if you think panera lemonade had a high caffeine content that was poorly labeled, wait until you hear that starbies blonde espresso is like 80mg per, unlabeled because it's coffee, and they let you add like 8 of them to your drink before cutting u off
