The other colors have a variety of associations that come with them. Pretty much all of those things they represent are less interactable than the sky. So the sky is the least threatening thing of all of those. (At least to us modern humans.) So basically, blue wins because it’s the least scary 😂
I was thinking about this… And why blue is the color of choice. It’s actually about more than the patriarchy. I was thinking about what our instinctual emotional response is to various colors… And blue is almost always the background to everything because it’s the default color of the sky.
