I don't know if this post is considered "sappy" but I truly believe having an outlet is important especially when things are THIS rough right now (I'm talking from experience).

It doesn't have to be art related. Anything you can do that's healthy for yourself to keep you recharged.

Being creative is my outlet. Sadness, anger, despair are washed away for those small moments I'm drawing. But it doesn't work for everyone.

Find your outlet. Could be walking, exercising, hanging out with folks irl, writing, or helping anyone in need or in your community. Or all of the above.

Seeing a few artists and creators alike saying that they can't focus on creating because of the recent events. And honestly, I get it. It's tough seeing all this happening in the news, even for an optimist like me can feel that.

But drawing is one of the few things that's keeping me sane right now.
