In all seriousness: the last 2 weeks of TikTok posturing and Zuck grovelling, combined with the X insanity of the last year, should show you that an app with a feed that you don’t control serves *other people’s interests* - not yours.
Perhaps his vision was the future of meat and hunting. The “vison”, or “vegan bison” as it used to be known

That turned out not to be a hugely successful effort as there were a lot of areas of Numba involved that I know very little about! 🙂

Not that I know of. She used Mastodon for a bit but the server she signed up on shut down, and I don't think she migrated or signed up to another after that.

I wonder - had it not been merged, would there have been a risk to Intel that mmp/ispc would have become the canonical place for ispc development, and/or it eventually leading to a community-maintained fork?

- Pin down the track on my son's N gauge trainset (it's a work in progress!)
- Make mince pies (I get into a Christmas mood through food, and I'm about ready for it already this year)
The iMac appeals to me as a fantasy of a simple life - where I don't need to use a computer outside the house, and computing sessions are simple and non-technical, for tasks not really related to computers. Having all my computing needs met by just an iMac at home feels like a retirement dream.
