4am 3 second power flicker, traumatized* dog spends 20 minutes outside checking yard, snooping neighbors, making sure things are all in place.

I get it. I just wish she never had to deal with it on those terms, says the guy with PTSD.

*She survived a hurricane where her previous family did not.

My busy week is almost over. Just one last corpse to jump and I’ll finally be able to chill out.

Couple things have kept me going.

1. My dog just being comfortable being a dog around me.

2. Staying in contact with some people despite being so tired, drugged up (medically needed) and grouchy.

Always a good plan to get ducks in a row before. I’m sure it’ll happen for you things are better.

Many moons ago we were talking about Courage the Cowardly Dog and not being able to watch it.

Apparently it is now on Tubi for those who are interested.

I thought I had seen most of these types of movies but I do not believe I saw this one. I’ll check it out.

Yeah, gore is fine but no maggots or visually seeing fingernails removed. Anything else is fair game.

But my ex used to be any blood no food.

A golden-brown toad sitting up and looking at the camera! They are covered in lots of warty bumps that have a very rough looking texture! They have a slight ridge running along the edge of their nose and over their eyes!

That’s a great idea I should also look for a few more natural sounds.

When I leave my dog at home she enjoys an audiobook. It calms her nerves so much.

This week her audiobook of choice is King Sorrow: A Novel by Joe Hill.

She even expressed a grunt of disappointment when I turned it off.

When I can eat freely I seldom think about it until I’m many hours beyond hungry.

But since I can’t eat anything today I’ve becomes Ravenous with 110% less Guy Pearce but strangely only 33% less David Arquette.

I flushed a dead fish down the toilet, as a kid. Only he started moving after I flushed.

My Uncle,assured me, it was just the toilet water but I wonder if one day Drip, his human name, will rise up to strike vengeance.*

Will he wear a “creepy mask” when he stalks me?

*Guppy lifespan ignored.

What do you call having a colonoscopy one day and a root canal the next?

A busy social life.
