It is! It 100% is weird! I got fully paid with a pretty nice tip on top of it, and as far as I heard from the mutual friend, they were excitedly sharing the sketches and things I sent them, but once I delivered the final art, they didn't answer. I don't know what to think of it!
I did think of your situation when I was going through it, and it made me super anxious... I don't know if this is the new thing for people to do, or if it's a weird coincidence... I can't believe they STILL haven't contacted you! ;;

I've never run into this before....It's kind of messing with me. Did I maybe do something wrong? If they were excitedly showing others, then idk....
But... they never answered me when I reached out? I'm so confused... They paid for the art and tipped, but just ghosted me after I sent the progress update.
friend who suggested me to them to make sure they were okay, or if something happened, and I was told they had been hanging out the day before and had been sharing the progress pictures I'd been sending...
I sent the final art and asked if there were any details that needed changed before I sent the fullsized art, and they never answered. I sent a new message a few days later to check in, and still no reply.
I sent them the full size after waiting a week and contacted the mutual-
I am so confused about this situation.... Maybe other artists can advise? I had a commission request that seemed to be going okay, I finished it in the time period and everything with regular updates, but when it came time to deliver the piece, the client never replied??
