Give me the TWSBI any day.
Which are 2 and 6 ??
How do you tell a fake Safari? You often hear of fakes. I have two that feel different. Which is the fake I wonder?
Coming to a wall near you soon - very soon!
I’ll have another look tomorrow. I’m interested in your app as a competitor to FPC from an academic pov, being a retired software eng. and a FP/ink addict!
Can’t access your code on GitHub as was hoping to run it on my Linux box. When are you hoping to have a fully functioning website?
That fee doesn’t promote innovation, does it!?
It doesn’t appear to work with Apple devices so far, as not showing on the app. store. Will it eventually?
Obviously a fountain pen. However, there are so many uses for a FP, what do you have in mind and what level of experience? Nibs, inks, paper all come into play. It’s a culture, if not an obsession.
The answer is a foregone conclusion here.
Why ask that question on this feed?
Seconded. I have various TWSBI pens and never looked back.
Try Starry Ink’s Mint. I was pleasantly surprised at the colour, quality and flow. Presently in my daily pen.
Filling pen cartridge using syringe with lovely Starry Ink mint.
Crappy handwriting bc of only one eye available today from accident.
New dark green Kaweko Sport arrived today from Pen Heaven along with a nondescript cartridge to try it for the impatient. But no, out came the syringe and I filled an empty one with Starry Ink mint. I’d forgotten how smooth they write. Wonderful! Great value for twenty quid. And the ink - lovely.
But it’s not a fountain pen :-/
Hope you’re going to show us.
That paper doesn’t look very fountain pen friendly!
Diamine have a really good selection of very dark inks. And they are readily available in the Americas - probably worldwide.

2/2 The Dingbat definitely needs refining for practical use. The pen holder is too small and too near to the pages edge when closed, rendering it useless - even for a smallish fountain pen. The Pith sadly looks aesthetically like a refill and needs an outer cover to finish it, but is quality. +Later
I’ve been trying two new notebooks this afternoon for fountain pen suitability and overall satisfaction as to practical use:
1. Dingbats Wildlife collection which is made in Turkey
2. Pith Supply Yuzu hand-finished in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
They’re both ink-friendly, the latter being more so. 1/2
You have lots of friends then. And you’ve come to the right place.
Not forgetting the importance of your choice of ink(s). They can make a tremendous difference to your enjoyment. Take a look here:

…..or these fountain pen ink swabs:
Cotton wool pads with various coloured ink stains from cleaning fountain pens.
Too good to throw away!
Nice ink. What is it please?
You will try, but probably to no avail. Some do, some don’t. Best of luck✒️🖋️
Yes, yes, but what’s the pen?
Yellow more like.
