The Arabian peninsula would still be able to export crude. The refineries are there because downstream has higher value but there is refinery capacity elsewhere in Asia.

The other thing about Reddit is that it’s the best social media site for discussions about a particular city or county. BlueSky and Twitter are pretty hopeless, Threads is surprisingly not bad, and Facebook / NextDoor are too reactionary
