i have had the story of Tip/Ozma rattling around my head all my LIFE, i think my grandma gave her oz books to my mom and i read some of them. even then i was like tin man and scarecrow seem like theyre in love :O

theyve dialed back opiates and imo that was a big piece of the problem. my xp w opiates in pill form was they made it easy to care about nothing at all. that for pop likely included trying to regain mobility or functioning.

yesterday i watched 1989s The Burbs, which i hadnt seen since i was a child. i was briefly obsessed w it then, not getting the humor at all. it was just a strange unsubtle tale of slowburn horror to me, and my child mind struggled to follow. i WANTED to understand, tho.

also there were 3 dogs.
