Pile of gold and silver colored coins with two different images of Queen Victoria on the front side. Backside had various symbols from the game and coin values (though it seems fairly obvious that larger golden coins would be a higher value than smaller silver colored ones). There's only 2 coin values in the game: 100 & 500. The coins are thick and hefty.
Final layout for me. I went nuts with blue service tiles (2 of the courtship phases scored blue), and I bought and used/flipped 2 purple tiles to the monument side (Hermitage & Lionheart Suite). At the very bottom there's a glimpse of my objective and VP cards. Did pretty well on them too!
Got the metal coin upgrade for Obsession, because I love metal coins in games...& I've got everything elseπ€£ Had a pretty good game today! #boardgames

Nice! please update us how you feel about Compile, especially in relation to Air, Land, & Sea.
We only have the latter but have often seen them compared? It's been on our wishlist, though maybe we should spend more time with what we've got first π

Still need to get around to this game, I played the alpha back from 2013, and while I don't remember specifics, it was for sure a positive experience.

Oh nice, maybe I've been using the location entry wrong? We use that to mark where we physically played a game π
(Home, BGA, friends house, etc)
Nice that you can use the app for it. We do love BGStats π

Screenshot from Obsidian on maxOS, showing part of our board game collection for Location B (which is a box in our kallax), with an assortment of games within.
I'm not sure I understand the question, sorry.
We have 12 boxes for the kallax units (A to L), and each box has a different number of games (boxes) inside.
We can get quite a lot of games into one box if they're on the smaller side, 25 in box B for example π

Our system for storing board games is to chuck them (gently) into a box, which then goes into a Kallax. Paired with a "database" to help us find anything we need.
We'll be explaining it all a bit more in an upcoming video π
How do you like to organise/manage your collection?

I want to thank people who took the time to read the document and watch the video I shared. It is also important to me that it is understood: I do not believe Matthew, Paula, Monique or Naveen (or anyone else) had involvement (or awareness) of the actions the owner of Game Night Picks took. 1/4

PNP Arcade is now closed.
I'll be posting all of my PNP games to itch for the time being. Today I've added Crownfell, Crownfell: Last Stand, and ExoShip there; I think those were the only ones missing:

The BoardGameGeek Hall of Fame 2026 - Day 5 Inductee | BoardGameGeek News
@boardgamegeek.com For an award you say acknowledges artistry, why are you choosing to highlight a game:
- That uses AI art (which surely is anti-artistry if anything)
- Designed by a person whose transphobic views have no place in our industry (artist = artistry)

The board game Cascadia: Rolling Rivers, with the box standing on a grey table cloth, with the cards, dice, and player sheets on display. Beyond the table is a fireplace burning.
Tonight we sat by the fireplace and enjoyed Cascadia: Rolling Rivers for the first time!
We love flip and writes,
We love dice rolling
This was a winning combo, and made for a very pleasant game π
