Bodycam, dashcam videos offer new details about fatal police shooting in Pennsylvania WKBN obtained the recordings after the station’s owner successfully sued the Pennsylvania State Police with free legal help from an RCFP attorney.

Pennsylvania law enforcement refused to turn over recordings of a fatal police shooting last year.

But with free legal support from @rcfp.org's Paula Knudsen Burke, @wkbn.bsky.social won access to the footage — which shed new light on the incident.

The Local Legal Initiative's expansion comes in response to requests from journalists and news outlets in each state, who cited increased legal roadblocks to their reporting and a lack of government transparency.
