Climate change is leading to more intense extremes, more droughts and more flooding and it's going to get only worse.

It went on for only 20 mins or so but it was a proper downpour today (in Nashik, India).

More intense rains clearly the result of warmer earth holding more water vapour in the atmosphere.

It's not life threatening yet at least but in the coming years it soon will be and something like in The Ministry for the Future might happen. The coastal areas are at the highest risk.

It was kind of unbearable in April! May has started of with cooler temperatures.

Two decades ago this city used to be lot cooler than it's now and also a lot less humid. But now occasionally it almost feels like Mumbai where you start sweating immediately after taking a shower.

May is generally hottest part of summer but right now it's cool and comfortable due to the rains. Monsoon usually arrives mid June but this year it's arriving two weeks early. What's happening now are the pre monsoon thunderstorms (which also came unusually early).
