Yes, there will be two more illustrations, one per week.
Flat colors locked in.
White fur, dark navy coat, deep crimson lining — the palette needed to feel cold and dangerous at the same time.
No shading yet, but the night forest atmosphere is already there underneath. The aurora was planned from the very first sketch. 🎨
Lineart stage — this is where the piece gets its bones.
The fur texture on her coat was the biggest challenge: dense enough to feel real, clean enough to not swallow the silhouette.
I work in Krita for this stage. Line weight variation is everything. ✏️
Color-coded sketch — red for the character, blue for the outfit, green for the environment.
It looks like a mess. It IS a mess. But every line has a reason.
The pose came first — that low stance, fists raised, fur coat catching the wind. She had to feel unstoppable from frame one. 🌕
The Saint who burned. The darkness that rose from the flames. 🔥
