he/him. I was c_davies on the bird app; an odd little man with a British accent everywhere else. Cat-lover; Michigan-resider; SlashGear writer; car geek; ๐ŸŒˆ I do not 'like' skeets; it's nothing personal it just gives me anxiety.

I am 85% sure that he thinks gas is pumped up from directly beneath each gas station. Straight from the ground to the pump.

You may be overestimating the scale of my garage, Joel ๐Ÿ˜‰

I mean, yes... but I think both an ABC set *or* a Suburban would be noticed, and raise questions at home ๐Ÿคฃ

The problem is, then I'd need the 'B' too, and I *really* don't have space for three cars ๐Ÿ˜‚

Just out of vague curiosity... how much do these things usually go for? ๐Ÿ‘€

I don't need this. I really don't need this.

It is honestly so hard to find the right dense rubber extrusions

It has been a rollercoaster ride, I will agree with you.

It gives me zero pleasure to report that my dense rubber extrusions may not be suitable.

It was not fun! And took a long time to get fixed! And now we all get panicky in strong winds! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Stunning, but after having had a tree land on the house last year in a storm, I would be *terrified* living in this place ๐Ÿ˜‚

Just ordered some dense rubber extrusions. I will not be taking questions at this time.

I get that a lot, Brett, I get that a lot. Well, the "you've saddened me" part, anyway.

This is just efficiency at work, Dom - now I only need one post to encompass all the world's ridiculousness!

Just heard the news and I'm disgusted. It's truly disgusting. Can't believe it has come to this. Wow.

Generally outrageous.

Victoria if they got rid of capitalism what would they do with the big bell they ring at the stock exchange every morning? They already paid for that bell. It'd be a crime to waste it, a beautiful bell like that. Be reasonable, Victoria, and think of the incredible bell that capitalism bought.

I think there's a desire to have The Candidate today and begin campaigning now, and the hunger to do so involves ignoring genuine criticisms and pretending that people will hold their nose and vote for Newsom. And I think that's a dangerous assumption, tbh.

I don't believe it's true that he's the only one either willing or capable, and I also think some of his efforts to remain prominent over the past months have been misguided or just plain wrong. I also think Dem strategists are blinkered if they think people will "get over" their issues with him.

It's fascinating seeing the continuing reaction to people saying "No, we won't vote for Gavin Newsom, he's a terrible pick*" being "Yes, but Gavin Newsom, though, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰" from certain (vocal) quarters.

*which is, to be clear, a sentiment I agree with

We put "bark butter" suet out for the birds in the winter; it has chili in it to dissuade squirrels and other mammals from eating it, and every time I just want to shove a huge handful into my mouth. So far I have resisted.
