I was surprised when my dad told me he read the book from my kindle about "the guy from the future who became Jesus or something." Apparently he liked it though! @darrenshan.com

To be clear, wondering about her because of the presence of Tashigi makes sense - though it's been made clear over time that that is just a coincidence - wondering about her death simply because you feel it was too simple, or doesn't gel with the OP we know today, is wrong.
People having questions about Kuina's death in One Piece is always funny to me. Shonen has never been a genre known for its complexity and subtlety, and this was even less so in 1997. I'm sure you can find a million examples of a sad death in someone's backstory being explained in a single sentence.
Bigger areas are Resident Evil's future. That doesn't mean open world, but its just obvious at this point. They need to evolve the series or it will be diminishing returns from here on.They apparently did plan a more free section for 9.And with the next remake probably taking place on an island,well...
As long as i'm offering RE hot takes, there are parts of the Netflix series I quite liked. I think with a second season it would have blossomed. It also now has added significance since it was one of Lance Reddick's last roles, and he also believed in the show.
Part of me sometimes wonders if maybe the whole Jeopardy crew really did like that Michael Richards guy and thought he was a good choice for host. Maybe he was a great producer on the show and everyone thought he deserved it.
Ken is such a good host now that it doesn't often come to mind, but yeah.
I was so right, lol. The only long-term trauma in this game is when you die and haven't used an ink ribbon to save for awhile.
Anybody who liked this and made it the second-most-liked letterboxed review for the new Gorillaz short should be ashamed of themselves. Shit is cringe, weird and no one can tell me it's not.
Letterboxd often has lame stuff like this as top reviews for any given movie or thing.
I think you may be thinking of Catly, that had a commercial during a break in the Game Awards a couple years ago?
It wouldn't surprise me if there was some AI dog game at some point too though.
Atreus looks like they casted way too young because they're afraid of him aging too much between seasons. Bad idea. But this kid's age also isn't actually known so maybe it's just in this screenshot and he won't have that impression in the show?
He looks younger than Egg in KOT7K.
I NEVER say this, which I have to specify because it's a very common refrain...This does kinda look like cosplay.
It looks like a suburban dad and his son who are fans of the series and did a little photoshoot for his birthday or something.
Had the chance to mention that some of our hard drives are Hitachi brand to the new hire today. He didn't laugh or even crack a smile. Passed the test!
Do the people that are mad about Lupita being Helen in The Odyssey think she actually looks like Maz Kanata
The latter two movies of this trilogy are super underrated.
Its somewhat silly but would be interesting if it could be true. The issue here is that as much as I love RE, the RE I know simply is not capable of "grappling with long-term trauma". Not with the way the games have been written up to now.
I did not know the W101 spinoff game was available outside of the main game.
Crazy pop culture month coming up:
- RE9, Monarch season 2, AND new Gorillaz album this week
- One Piece live action season 2 March 10th
- Death Stranding 2 PC March 19th
- Mario Wonder Switch 2 edition late March
Anything I'm missing?
Holy cannoli
Fun with and via cats!!
Good. Paul's energy in the Messiah book is basically this.
youtu.be/usI25A_1aOo?...
Nah this is code like in RE2 when Chris's letter says he's with a cute girl under an umbrella ;) in Europe. Luigi's out there doing super important stuff.
Yes ladies, I HAVE kept up with every monthly event in the Donkey Kong Bananza Emerald Rush DLC since its release.
Is his grandpa a dragonfly?
I will check it out!
Would rather they add the show, but any way people experience Gunbuster is good by me
Even before the announcement of the new one I was wanting to read Talisman because it's Dark Tower-related. Aside from those books, "Revival" is the recent(ish) King that's most interesting to me so I will check that one out too.
I've read the first 2 Dunes so I would be ready for the movies.
Oh oh and also finishing Archibald Lox by @darrenshan.com , which I somewhat unceremoniously stopped after Part 1 of the second book to focus on other stuff.
And yes I am buying the Ender books used, if that is necessary to state.
Not that anyone is wondering but the 3 series are:
-Ender series (core) by Orson Scott Card, for which I have 2 books left that I will finish first this year
-Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke,I have just 3001 left which I will read after that
-Lensman by Doc E. E. Smith, I also have the last 1 left
