💖 One month to go! 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🥰 On Saturday 14 June, Omagh will once again open Pride season in Northern Ireland with its fifth annual parade. The town will be awash with colour as the LGBTQ+ community and allies march through the town. We're very excited to mark our fifth year, bringing a celebration of LGBTQ+ identity and culture to the town, along with a party atmosphere. We're doing so with financial support from the National Lottery Community Fund, for which we are so grateful. While we're going to have plenty of fun on Pride day, we're also very concerned about threats to trans rights in particular, both globally and locally. Therefore, we've decided our theme this year is ‘Trans Lives Matter’, and we'll be putting this issue front and centre. Parade participants are asked to gather at the Main Street car park on Kevlin Avenue from 1pm. Following speeches from LGBTQ+ organisations and other campaign groups, the parade will move off at 2pm.
