Anaesthesia blocks- I do awake nerve blocks if patient is having only block and asleep if they are having GA. Most chronic pain blocks are awake or rarely mild sedation as needed. No hard and fast rules.๐๐ฝ

The next plan A block I wanted to share is the Femoral Nerve Block
Used less for elective Hip & Knee surgery in UK practice, but still has a role in Hip Fracture analgesia/surgery, or in amputation. I still use it with Lidocaine for GA knee arthroplasty.
