The only thing that's ever really given us pause to quit that Yung Lean photobook
Recently sent an editor prose, chopped up and churned through InDesign, but written as prose. Self evidently prose.
"I don't like the poems."

Insta feed's full of Tarkovky interviews. Say what you will re. his work but he's a dreadful interviewee; that sort of affected Catholic faux-mysticism, talking in broad strokes, aching for his immortality. Would be all over podcasts today

Follow-up to Blitzed. Makes the various connections between the Nazis & CIA extremely well, but regurgitates tired old tropes about 'unsuccessful' mind control programmes. Most of the files he/we need are under lock & key. Decent though.

I see A-Level style 'urban decay' photography is making a strong comeback. Diabolical times

Appalling to find another international publishing house we'd respected let standards plummet by publishing a moribund, bourgeois Mancunian author. Twice now, in a matter of weeks. Editorial standards? Perhaps they're fulfilling an Arts Council quota or the like

We've got 3 ms we're keen on editing & publishing, but still lack a dedicated sales/repping team. Stasis & search will go on until we find one.
Our initial 3 titles were well received with national & international press & praise from contemporaries. Reflected with utter disinterest from our reps
Source is looking for New Work. No fee to submit. As part of our research for future issues, Source will be organising Zoom meetings with photographers to look at new photographic work. Open to photographers from or based in Ireland or the UK. Details at source.ie DL 27 February 2026.
The US editions' ending of 'A Clockwork Orange' renders the fable hugely bleak. They'd do well to revert to the British version. And ultimately realise its historical context & ingenuity.
Wasn't 'Wicked' pulled because it not a YA text? Haven't read it.
No book should be 'banned' obvs.
One for the lolz for any publishers from without the 'big five'.
The least flexible and responsive industry imaginable.
Let's all do tertiary-sourced artists books / glorified nostalgic flick books... and whatever happens, do not mention the original artists. 2026, thems the rules

Decent (as in functioning) alternatives to Google Search please?
Not Bing. Not Yandex. Not DDG. Not Ecosia.
