I would like the NBA to stop giving fouls when offensive players lean their shoulder into the defenders chest and initiate the contact in order to draw a foul.

Plenty of players are root for do it. Plenty of players I dislike to it. I just think it’s shitty sports and bad for basketball.

Btw there's a difference between "I enjoy your work, thanks," and "I have extensive notes on how you can improve this book that is already in bookstores," the first is always nice to hear, the second will get you a dead blank expression and utter silence

yes, it's another AI case, but not like you think

plaintiff is pro se, defendant is the United States Government

DEFENDANT is the one being hauled on the carpet for AI-hallucinated citations, as spotted by plaintiff

And then he promptly deleted the tweet.

Today I visited an ICE holding facility in Baltimore. What I saw was disturbing. This Administration is showing a level of inhumanity we should never accept.

This was my second visit to the ICE facility in Baltimore. Each time, it made the hair stand up on my arms.

The conditions are inhumane, and the treatment of people is unacceptable.

Instead of lowering gas prices, this Administration chooses to spend its time on this CRUELTY.

Ticketmaster parent Live Nation settles DOJ antitrust case Live Nation Entertainment settled with the U.S. Justice Department in the middle of a trial on claims the Ticketmaster owner illegally dominated key parts of the live-events industry, the DOJ said on...

The Trump DOJ gave Ticketmaster a sweetheart deal that keeps their monopoly intact & does nothing to stop their ridiculously high prices & fees.

The deal was so good, their stock price jumped 6.2% after the news broke.

Once again: Trump's putting corporations over consumers.

Baltimore Police officer in stable condition after being shot; suspect dead A Baltimore Police officer was shot in Northwest Baltimore and taken to Shock Trauma, while a suspect was also shot during the incident on Park Heights Avenue.

Thank you to the first responders who responded to this emergency and who are on front lines of public safety every day. I'm especially thinking of this officer and praying for his recovery. We're keeping him and his loved ones in our thoughts.

Whistleblower claims ex-DOGE member says he took Social Security data to new job The Social Security inspector general’s office is investigating allegations that the former DOGE engineer took sensitive data on a thumb drive in a major potential security breach, said people familia...

For months, we warned DOGE's access to Americans' private data was ripe for abuse. And here it is:

A former DOGE employee stole the Social Security numbers & personal info of over 500 MILLION Americans.

Musk, Trump, & their DOGE lackies must be made to answer for this, NOW.

A DHS spokesperson told WIRED on Monday, β€œAny allegation that DHS adopted a policy making Privacy Threshold Analyses exempt from the Freedom of Information Act is FALSE.”

Internal emails show otherwise.

On December 3, the DHS Privacy Office announced a "major change" that required all future PTAs to carry a disclaimer marking them exempt from public release. The disclaimer reads in full:

β€œThis is a draft document that is pre-decisional, deliberative, and is designated For Official Use Only. It is subject to the deliberative process privilege and attorney client privilege. It is not to be released, shared, or distributed outside of authorized channels without prior consultation and approval from the Department of Homeland Security Privacy Office. Unauthorized disclosure may result in administrative, civil, or criminal penalties.”

DHS's press office straight up lied about this. But they didn't know I had receipts.

FWIW, here is what I think actually happened: I think Mr. Renfer was routinely drafting documents using AI and then having his paralegal cite-check them. Over time, as their caseload increased and nobody noticed, they got sloppy. They figured as long as the quote was pretty close, it was good enough

10.03.2026 22:07 πŸ‘ 850 πŸ” 35 πŸ’¬ 42 πŸ“Œ 9

Reminder that I have nothing to sell, I get nothing from this and I would probably still do it if nobody read it. Also, if you are aware of upcoming hearings that you would like to see covered, let me know. The hardest part of this is trying to follow scheduling for 100 different cases at once.

10.03.2026 21:17 πŸ‘ 951 πŸ” 19 πŸ’¬ 19 πŸ“Œ 1

So the best case for DOJ is that they can isolate this to just Renfer but he is trying to claim cover from the fact that the (now former) Civil Chief (O'Hare or maybe O'Hara) approved his filings. The question is whether the judge decides to expand his inquiry.

10.03.2026 21:09 πŸ‘ 618 πŸ” 34 πŸ’¬ 15 πŸ“Œ 2

On another document: Renfer claims that language he placed in quotation marks was intended as a general statement of the case and not an actual quotation. "This was a writing technique to liven up the prose."
