I love owls. Check The International Owl Center YouTube Videos. Photo Taken from 2020 AZ Game and Fish great horned owl nest/ owlets webcam. This pole barn had been a nesting area over 6 years. Later AZ microburst flattened pole barn, but owls hadn't nested there for three years prior.
Writing with different POVs plus Dragon metaphor kept my empathy churning. I thought of my friend with adult twin daughters and son giving her grandchildren. Her husband is with her in spirit. Ready to read more creations. NYT Contest 2026 online today. Congratulations for 2025 First Place!

Today's Exhibit of the Day? A colossal amethyst geode! At ~13 ft (4 m) tall & 9,000 lbs (4,082 kg), it's as heavy as 3 compact cars. Formed 135 million years ago, it started as colorless quartz—becoming purple after millennia of natural radiation, heat, & trace contaminants.
