And the brilliant part is that it will keep working even with me having explained because, well, you'd have to think about it for my explanation to change anything.

This is, of course, the entire point. All it does is expose people who care more about whether you bow to an icon than they do about ACTUALLY figuring out what you ACTUALLY think.

So apparently there was some drama and some people got mad about illegibility, and the problem with all these critiques is that even the most extreme illegibility posters aren't hard to figure out if you flex your thinky bits for about 5 seconds.

Tfw you are near the end of a book series you've been thoroughly enjoying, and you haven't at all stopped enjoying it, but you are kinda ready to be done anyway.

I kinda alternate between doing this and then hitting a day where I REALLY don't do this.

There's also an element of not wanting to inadvertently draw insanity upon the rest of one's social circle when it's avoidable that muting doesn't achieve as seamlessly.
