• The vehicle is registered to a man in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, who was originally from Lebanon, law enforcement sources told CNN. Authorities are investigating reports that the man told people that he had family members who were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon in recent days, those officials said.

It is horrific what happened to this man’s family. But some Jewish American children worshipping at a synagogue in Michigan are not fucking responsible. This is another case of blaming all Jews for the actions of Israel. This is why we constantly beg you not to do that.

This week was a rough one for me on The Pitt. Much love to everyone out there who went through that with a parent. I had little flashes of memories of my own mother and being at the hospital when it happened. I wish I could remember more. Damn aphantasia/ADHD. I just don’t see memories. Fuck cancer.

My thoughts go out to my Jewish friends here. I see you. I hear you. I see the hate that is leveled against you, the way people’s biases are being manipulated against you. I wish you safety, ease, and love.

Everything will, in the end, have been about crypto and fossil fuels and we are mostly just casualties. Sigh.

Anyway, I cannot imagine a more toxic soup than a culture of white patriarchical dominance, unregulated gambling, legitimatizing prediction markets, historic economic inequality, and climate anxiety. Truly.

The 2012 gerrymander was only possible because people didn’t vote in 2010 & not voting for Democrats in 2014 flipped the Senate to the GOP, which prevented Obama from filling Scalia’s vacancy.
Had voters elected HRC in 2016, we’d have a liberal SCOTUS majority rather than a kangaroo court.

Stop electing people who have to learn the job on the job.

I value knowledge and experience combined with curiosity, compassion, and generosity. These are the qualities I think I most appreciate in leadership, and what I look for most in my elected officials.

You need to talk about politics with your kids. Don’t wait until some special age. There are age appropriate ways to prepare them for life. Trust that the opposition starts indoctrinating their kids early and continuously.
