If we ain't eating out here, at the fanciest fine dining craze in the Philippines right now, then we ain't really giving each other much love. 😭😍🍝🍸πŸ₯˜

Life will find a way to survive, no matter how difficult the circumstance may be, like a flower growing and blossoming through a crack in the concrete.

That is a beautiful sunset indeed. Nice of you to capture it in both an image and a short poem. Well done!

Rumi truly is a Wizard of a poet. There's none quite like him and how he weaves his poems into something spiritual, relatable, and wonderful. One of the best in all of time and it's such a treat to read one of his works here. Thanks for sharing!

The sad thing about global warming is that if we don't stop our negative ways of polluting the earth, we'll be boiled alive. Rising temperatures are already here, so yeah. We can only hope to take these problems seriously before it's too late.

Such a lovely poem. And yes, it's true. Love is about us risking something to reach out and help one another. Thanks for sharing this!

It captures so well that feeling of hopelessness and disappointment that many of us experience when everything just keeps on going to shit. I like the song a lot, and the times we're in right now make the song even more relevant, at least to me.

Sad but true. There are still a lot of misogyny and hate for women out in the world, and I hope that we can continue to progress to a better world where this kind of hate, or any hate for that matter, no longer exists, or has been greatly diminished.

Great poem, by the way.

This one made me chuckle because I thought they were honking their car as the geese flew over with the crows chattering as I imagined them perched up on a tree. But then the last said "searching for my car" so now I'm seeing a person honking back with their voice while looking for their car haha.

I always try my best to be kind. Kind as much as I can be because I now realize that kindness should be our universal language.

As the saying goes, the victors are always the one who tell stories of what reality is, even though their side isn't all that factual, and some are just outright lies.

Make love, not war indeed. And Robert Burns did a splendid job in making his own version of the graffiti by immortalizing his work via poetry. Truly a wonderful read!

I like how the poem is emphasizing the importance of making love into an action β€” a decision β€” and not just a mere, fleeting emotion that's good when you're at the heights of it, and is miserable when you hit the bottom.

Truer words have never been said in such a concise manner. Are we even truly free to live in the way we want to in this day and age?

Damn there is some really good imagery here, and such a feat was achieved with only a few words.

Outstandingly impressive. I really liked reading this one, so thank you for sharing this!

I try my best not to dwell too much on my fears and worries about the future. It's not easy, but every day, I do remind myself to live one day at a time with this exact mantra in mind.

Thanks for sharing this one to us because I feel like many of us needed to hear this.

So true! We can dance wherever, whenever, and drop whatever it is we're doing for a brief moment.

Happiness is the same way, I believe. We can choose it wherever, whenever, and whatever may come our way.

I feel the same way when I'm being overwhelmed by my emotions. I tend to be stuck in my own head, like that scene from Clockwork orange, being forced to watch them claw their way out of my mind. But I'm also reactive in that moment, while being catatonic in my head.

I like your wordplay here. Very clever with the use of words and quite a timely poem, as well. With bombs being thrown at the Middle East right now, harming both civilians and the guilty, I can only pray that we come to our senses and deescalate.
