My wife would probably joke around and tease me for saying this because I'm a fan of werewolves, but yeah, I also feel the lycanthrope within me hiding, biding its time for when it's going to come out next.
Quite a powerful prose about being able to feel any loss of a human life, to my interpretation, because the speaker is so connected to the human collective as a whole, which is why they explain why no man is an island.

Finger snaps all around. Man, this is quite the poem. It has a story's structure, great imagery, and that heart-tugging ending of the speaker still being afraid, but feeling that facing that fear is worth it because they found someone they love is just chef's kiss.

The sad thing about global warming is that if we don't stop our negative ways of polluting the earth, we'll be boiled alive. Rising temperatures are already here, so yeah. We can only hope to take these problems seriously before it's too late.

It captures so well that feeling of hopelessness and disappointment that many of us experience when everything just keeps on going to shit. I like the song a lot, and the times we're in right now make the song even more relevant, at least to me.
Sad but true. There are still a lot of misogyny and hate for women out in the world, and I hope that we can continue to progress to a better world where this kind of hate, or any hate for that matter, no longer exists, or has been greatly diminished.

This one made me chuckle because I thought they were honking their car as the geese flew over with the crows chattering as I imagined them perched up on a tree. But then the last said "searching for my car" so now I'm seeing a person honking back with their voice while looking for their car haha.

As the saying goes, the victors are always the one who tell stories of what reality is, even though their side isn't all that factual, and some are just outright lies.
Make love, not war indeed. And Robert Burns did a splendid job in making his own version of the graffiti by immortalizing his work via poetry. Truly a wonderful read!
I like how the poem is emphasizing the importance of making love into an action — a decision — and not just a mere, fleeting emotion that's good when you're at the heights of it, and is miserable when you hit the bottom.
Truer words have never been said in such a concise manner. Are we even truly free to live in the way we want to in this day and age?

So true! We can dance wherever, whenever, and drop whatever it is we're doing for a brief moment.
Happiness is the same way, I believe. We can choose it wherever, whenever, and whatever may come our way.
I feel the same way when I'm being overwhelmed by my emotions. I tend to be stuck in my own head, like that scene from Clockwork orange, being forced to watch them claw their way out of my mind. But I'm also reactive in that moment, while being catatonic in my head.
