It's just so ethereal. I love how *godly* it looks in a way the nightbringer can't match
Mostly painting but they're my painted army so playing a bit. I want the nightbringer to do a glow up on my old model, painting in the same style. The technomancer I want because it's cool and the last cryptek for my castle, but would need wraiths to play successfully. Immortals just cool
I'd argue Tyranids got us beat on the dragon front but yeah!
Please give your reasons! I'm so torn!
Need some audience interaction for what to buy after I finish my lychguard. Do I get:
a) C'tan (Nightbringer)
b) C'tan (Void Dragon)
c) Technomancer (last cryptek I haven't painted, will then need to buy wraiths to use)
d) Immortals (either to bulk out gauss or as Tesla, or build as deathmarks
Thank you! It's all just practice, especially with the white edge highlight. I blend through from Caliban -> warpstone -> moot -> yriel with a couple of very thin layers of each, before the pure white edge highlight. Plenty of ones I've messed up though!!

Worhammer40k and PNW40k are two YouTube channels that go in depth for necron tactics/units. I'm sure there's more
Bit old but this site /pages is reasonably good at telling you the basics for tactics www.goonhammer.com/start-compet... and also lists tournament lists so you can see what people are trying
It is a lot of characters, most of whom can't attach. I play for rule of cool/things I like mostly so I often don't have 3 of anything but I know a lot of competitive lists are like that. Have you looked at the detachments at all? They might help decide what to take (there's a new c'tan one too)
I've not played with any of the c'tan other than the old nightbringer so can't say too much on them. Usually the wraiths are in units of 6 with technomancers, necron reanimation doesn't happen if the unit is entirely wiped so we tend to favour 20 warrior blocks, 10 immortals, 6 wraiths etc
Until you get a couple games in hahah
