U.S. Air Force B-1 And B-52 Bombers Now Striking Iran From The UK
The U.S. Air Force now operates three distinct bomber aircraft, all of which can trace their development back to the Cold War.
US bombers loading up on UK airstrips before raining down bombs on Iran.
Parliament wasn't consulted - and polling shows huge numbers oppose it.
When do MPs get a say over our involvement in this war?

Gen. Grynkewich: "What I've observed over the course of studying air power in history is that any time you attack a civilian population, you usually end up finding that it just hardens their resolve."

That said, I would not give them a guarantee if there is a good Green candidate already in their riding.
We need new leaders.
Let the people decide which is the better representative.

This would be great. If any of these MP's are listening and wondering if they should... the answer is yes.
The longer you stay with the Labour the more unforgivable that will become.

Apparently, I am not like the other people here in the trailer park.
A classic tune that always brings a smile to my face.
Life imitates art, and this "conversation" is the reason I do my very best to stay off Facebook and only check messages there. Too many of my insane family are on there.

I do like seeing a minus sign beside the AfD.
For Americans... Germany relies on coalitions to govern which makes it more democratic as it takes into account a plurality of voices and opinions. Except the AfD, as no one will enter a coalition with them. Right now we have an SPD/CDU goverment.

The wait for a politician to stand up and say this has been far too long. Well done Zack Polanski and the Green Party. The problems in this country are many and serious, but simply standing up and supporting a harmless but cruelly bullied tiny minority is a hell of a good start.

I recall this happening before in history.
Next step in that case was to then round up all the newly unemployed, who refuse to work, into "forced labour camps".
Hopefully the courts actually uphold the law preventing that from happening.

Trump Keeps Gifting 1 Thing To Top Officials Who Are βAfraid Not To Wear Themβ: Report
βAll the boys have them," a Trump administration source told The Wall Street Journal. Another called it "hysterical."
Funniest thing is how he purposely gave shoes that are too big to little Marco Rubio and that Rubio wears them.
He could go out and just buy another identical pair that actually fit him and Trump would never know, but he doesn't out of fear.

The idea it seems is to create a situation where an attack on UK forces in the region would give him political cover to do more to please the US Admin. I am confident that Iran will not do so and avoid such an escalation.

I would argue that he has joined the USA in the war. He is covering the US rear, as per usual. Deploying UK forces into harms way in Cyprus, Iraq, UAE, and Qatar (etc.) and supporting "defensive" attacks on Iranian sites.
To be fair France and Germany are doing the same.

There is only one party that has remained consistent in its opposition to the Iran war.
1 party that has not waffled every time the wind blows a different way. 1 party that stands for something more than re-election. 1 party that has always opposed US illegal aggression.
Vote UK Green Party.

So many files have been released with a lot of evidence implicating many people. Yet no one has been arrested? No one has been charged with a crime?
Charge someone based on the information already made public, and if necessary broker a deal to get more evidence.
There needs to be consequences.

UN panel accuses Trump of "racist hate speech" that it says sparked "human rights violations"
The White House accused the UN of "extreme bias."
The UN is ineffective and powerless to do the one thing it was created to do. Hold nations and their leaders to account for violations of human rights and international law.
At this point, it struggles to even write a strongly worded email.
We need a UN with enforcement capabilities and no vetoes.

For pursuing war criminals.
