No, it's just something you get used to up here. At 0° C, the house doesn't cool off so fast with a window open. At -20°, it proceeds at a brisk pace! 🥶

When natural gas was cheap, I could afford to let the house cool down for a while. Now, it's 💵, to hear up all that fresh, cool air again! 🙂

It's sort of a feast or famine situation. A little ongoing air exchange would be nice. An open window, on the other hand, needs to be managed...and I'm lazy! 😊

A tiny draught would be a blessing in my house. Fresh air! 🙂

Here, houses are so insulated and airtight it's almost unhealthy. You could turn the heat off and they'd stay warm for days...but there's no airflow. Sick house syndrome, I think they call it.

No, this isn't darkening my life or anything. Just opening my eyes. I should be out doing more in my community than just riding my bike, I think. There are people who could use help...
