Finding more “resonant pockets” with FERROUS on a broken cymbal. Ferrous’ rotating magnetic disc is placed near 2 earth magnets (neodymium magnets) that are sandwiching the edge of the cymbal. They are approximately 3mm x 12mm each and placed to repel the polarity of the rotating disc.
I had the pleasure of recreating light goggles for Laurie Anderson @laurieandersonofficial for “ARK: United States V”. The first image is of Laurie wearing the originals in the 80’s. The second is her illuminating the stage and fog with the new version. The fourth image is me testing them.
