My daddy also left the farm joining the Navy in Korean War. Met my mom in CA & never returned to the fields of TN except for visits. A fellow seaman he befriended (also TN)married my mom's friend & also stayed in CA on our street even. It was their way out.

Not sure i buy those stats. Im nearly 60 and every woman i know over 65 is on facebook. Daily. The men not so much, but I dont personally know any older women not on facebook. Its not just scrolling, its groups, ideas, lessons. Its how we gather, & socialize live with each other post covid.
Has anyone studied that adults in the country havent yet recovered? I have no kids but it sure feels like we never fully recovered. We made no peace with the trauma, those we failed, those still ill. Nothing is as it was. We go thru the motions but its not the same. Adult trauma effect kids.

He realized getting two countries to negotiate a peace deal was hard. Just start your own war, end it when you feel like it. Make up a fake peace deal and boom another war ended. No more pesky negotiations. No wait time. Peace deal on demand!
