Started NARC! To be honest I picked this one kinda randomly but holy shit, this might be one of the funniest games I've ever played. Mechanically, it's fine. You shoot people, sometimes arrest someone. But the story is bonkers and so much random shit can happen. It's so funny

Finished Jade Empire! I found this one pretty rough, unsatisfying and clunky combat, with a pretty mid plot and some of the most annoying dialogue I've had the displeasure of sitting through. Maybe you (the person reading this) would like it more? I dunno!

Played more Jade Empire and I can say this game sucks lol. For a martial arts game the combat is so constricting and boring. It's not fun like, at all. The plot is like, fine I guess, but fairly predictable. Dialogue is a chore to get through. I'm still finishing this crap though

Played more Jade Empire! The combat still isn't very good, but it's gotten slightly better after gaining the Spirit Steal ability, which lets you steal Chi mid fight and actually use it for heals and attacks more often. The story is mostly just the MC going "Why me?!" meh.

Started Jade Empire! The combat kinda sucks, but the general story is interesting enough, and it's not *that* bad to play. Excited to see where it goes from here!

I say mildly because yeah a skill system isn't anything special. But they were really pushing the simulation angle here and it just feels terrible to play. Something else funny is everyone in your squad is super nice and is always praising you for everything you do. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
There is something mildly interesting there with the skill system, where you invest points to improve different attributes like aim, nerves and healing capabilities. But the last thing I wanna do in an FPS I'm already not enjoying is fucking grind for EXP lmao.
Last night I played America's Army: Rise of a Soldier! The "Official Game of the US Army" besides being an obvious propaganda game, it's also pretty shit lol. Aiming is dreadful, the voice acting is flat, models are ugly. Novelty aside, it doesn't have much going for it.

Also while I'm at it, I also finished UUUltraC! This one blew me away, an Avant-Garde masterpiece. I loved the way the story was told and the art and voice direction is unreal. The music was incredible too. An absolute must play, incredible game.
Finished Sudeki! The game kinda drags in the last quarter, and the final boss is pretty boring. But overall it's a fun Action RPG with a couple unique mechanics. It's got that Dreamcast Xbox look, and has some fun enough music when they decide to play it. It's fine!

Played more Sudeki! Having a great time with this one, while I wouldn't say the game is doing anything groundbreaking, the mechanics are interesting enough and very fun in practice. I'd say this is worth a try if you're an RPG fan. Excited for more!
