Hey, I'm Úna-Minh (that's my first name)! Producer, games writer, generalist. I also make solo games & PM a small team that localises indie games into Irish.

Open to work, short-term, long-term, term-term, and open to rapping the first 150 pokémon during my interview.

We're just not allowed nice things, Jim. That's not the way the DM has set it up.

I would highly advise everyone to subscribe to the @oracle.posters.rip 'Machine of Death'-inspired labeller. Comedy gold.

That last message deserves its own thread. Also, looks like you're starting a new ARG.

I've been reading a book called Enigmas of History, which is about batshit mystery theories, except the copy I found was in the library and had a chapter on CIA mind control but when I bought a copy off the internet, that chapter was missing. Along with chapters on Atlantis and Sirius, the Dog Star

My old house had the same thing though! It was sooo well-insulated that, when the sun shone, it was like a sauna up there.

(That is a cool minor curse though. Rather than getting chills from going into the dark room, you get slightly thirsty. Or a desire to redecorate. Or a blister.)

I just released another short ttrpg zine.

(I must remain) THE GLAD COWBOY is storygame where one player plays a Glad Cowboy and the other player plays The Repressed Horror At The Thing They Did. #ttrpg #indiettrpg

There's an phonetic-speaking cat in a series I'm reading currently which I was having real trouble understanding until I started randomly decided to bark it out loud in a Glaswegian accent, channelling Banks' Feersum Enjinn. 💡

(The series is Gene Wolfe's overlong The Book of the Long Sun.)

Shirley, the opening of Bleak House might feature. “London. Michaelmas term lately over, and the Lord Chancellor sitting in Lincoln's Inn Hall. Implacable November weather. As much mud in the streets as if the waters had but newly retired from the face of the earth…”

at one point when egs was throwing free-game money around indiscriminately and i was hoping to ship something imminently, i was vaguely hoping to secure some of that (would have been lifechanging money). in hindsight i think there would have been no surer way to make sure nobody ever played it

A particularly nasty smiley was making its way through the cold. Sid needed someone on the inside.

Dax was a musket. One of the best. Not great in the corp world, but if you wanted someone to talk their way past a room of armed guards with a clipboard and a smile, it was Dax you called.

The index of authors is insane: here's the index of authors in full. Each person was asked to write a short piece about one specific thing they care about. The result is a book about EVERYTHING.

(And it's affordable, < $20 paperback)

This IPSO adjudication against the Telegraph is quite something

Confirms their story titled: ‘We earn £345k, but soaring private school fees mean we can’t go on five holidays’ was completely fabricated, with the family involved non-existent and stock pictures used

I’m not sure our graduates are any better after three very expensive years. For many of them, three years in the workforce would be more instructive AND economically productive. But we also need to rebuild the funding model for our universities.
