They are quite a delicacy among some cultures. The white muscle along the side is removed, pounded, sliced and fried with scallions and ginger. Yum yum.
Where i live (Vancouver Island) people of all ages and sexes regularly smile and nod at each other as we pass on the street. Maybe it's the small town, non threatening, culture?
It looks like a nasty civil war may be about to take place in Iran. The US would be well advised to stop the campaign except as to where it can support the rebels.
There goes another Russian ally. Putin has got to be getting worried. He has lost Syria, Venezuela and soon, in all likelihood, Iran.
I think that there is a good chance that the Iran regime will fall. If Trump can claim another success then Cuba is next. Greenland and Canada have until the midterms. We had better start preparing now.
