How do you feel about catching critters in those toe gaps?
Tufts of fluff can be nice variety, but a full-full pad makes for a seamless transition… If you're keen on teasing very small, toe clenches would wrinkle and pinch that pad-bridge nicely.
I'm happy with both, maybe slightly full-full pad.

Squeeze to shrink, keeping any pressure within safe levels.. but you might lose a fair bit of size.
