I’ve been asking people in my life what they would have done during the rise of the Third Reich in Germany. All of them speak loftily about the things they’d have done. When I ask them why they aren’t doing that now, no real response. I think this is how it happened then.

Just things floating around your tower, your tower and upgrades shoot them for points. It’s really meditative for me. It’s almost a tapping game, but there’s a strategy to the way you spend your points. One of the best free games I’ve found. 8.5/10 one or two games and I’m ready for sleep.

The Tower. Really mellow, free, and you make noticeable progress as you play. I play for half an hour or so before bed.

Joderosky’s Dune. It’s the most amazing movie that was never made. Salvador Dali was going to play the emperor, HR Giger was doing the art. The making of the movie changed the industry, and this documentary is insane.

It really feels like stupidity is what is going to end civilization. Evil had its chance, but stupidity truly is the most destructive force. Seems Bonhoeffer was right, makes sense he was opposing Nazis.

The time where political prices mattered seems to have passed. I’m not sure we’re going to have a real election in 2026, and they’re already acting like a dictatorship. Courts aren’t stopping them, congress is subservient, and there are no checks and balances left. Democracy seems dead.
