I was her full time care giver for all that time, so as callous as it might sound, I'm finally free. Don't judge me. This is just me getting things off my chest. I have family and friends who are supporting me and even though I have a hard time showing it, I'm grateful to them.

So, after being diagnosed in September of 2019, my mother has finally succumb to the rigors of Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Last month, after 6 weeks in hospice care, my mother passed away in her sleep. She's finally at peace.
