My two are Soot and Shine, but I often call them Mrs. Beans/Sooty Baby, and Shiny Boy/Little Man.

Reading the #DetectivesTheseDays manga, issue 2. Manga translation is moderately off of the Anime one. Mashiro calls Nagumo "Mister", IIRC it's "Old Guy" or something in the anime subs. "Ojisan" is the Japanese dialog in the anime, so definitely more Old Guy than Mister.

"Buff" seems to be the most correct, beige is what I call it when I don't feel like explaining that buff is a color. I also like "champagne".

I've heard "cream colored" too but not sure why. It's a somewhat uncommon variant of orange, I believe.
