Just two more days of work then I’ll be off for four in a row and three out of four of them will be spent at comic con. It’s fine. I’m fine.
Being anxious about having to go to work after having two days off in a row is hell. The first day off is fine, but the second one I just spend on edge about having to go back.
I read a really good fic earlier of a conversation between Rogue and Magneto about Gambit in the '97 universe and opened up the comments to someone being weird as hell about Rogue. Show discourse should not be brought into someone’s writing. Move on.

Between the cold and how dark it was getting, I just haven't felt comfortable doing it since November, and I've missed it. It’s gonna be tough getting back into walking a little over two miles a day, but at least I know I can do it. 🥲
Daylight savings means I can start walking again. My mental health is about to be saved.

I took my suitcase down from the attic, but will I actually pack ahead of time instead of the night before? Probably not. Who knows!

This is just me being hopeful that Archangel and Rogue will interact. I did love their relationship/dynamic from the original series and I would love to see that carry over into '97, but I really don’t know what they’re going to do or what they have time to do.
Archangel being in a season where Gambit is going to be Death is going to be so good because I imagine Rogue is going to match his level of obsession or anger from the original series trying to get Gambit back.
I still think that cutting to Gambit as Death after this bit in the beginning would've worked beautifully, but fading to black with Apocalypse’s maniacal laughter gets the point across. His laugh with a reveal of Death would’ve gone even harder though.
I never left, but I’m back, ya know?
