I went with Angular ๐

I wonder what framework will be the last one to have a rust compiler.
Please for the love of god @anthropic.com change this.
Hahahaha. Whelp, I got nothing for you.
Ahhhh that's a cool site! Interesting to see them laid out side by side. I'm an Angular dev (only thing I have ever built sites in..) so svelte is a lot closer to that for sure.
I should probably look at the syntax ๐
I was thinking solid. What made you say svelte? (I know nothing about either of them!)
Thinking of building a small game using Capacitor and Phaser.io, but what framework? Thinking @solidjs.com or @svelte.dev.
The linting GOAT has returned.
Yes! It's been a while! (Google I/O... 2022? 2023? I don't even know now)
Yes let's do it!
The more information I'm equipped with the better!
There's many Forks under even more Stars here
Using a non-deterministic system for a deterministic task ๐
What an awesome set of sponsors ya'll got there!
THANK YOU VOIDZERO!!! ๐ฅ๐
Auvred is a force of innovation in the web linting space who absolutely deserves this and more. Go check out his work!!
So few companies give even trivial sponsorships back to open source, let alone major personal sponsorships. I'm so happy with VoidZero for doing this ๐ญ
I'm sorry. I'm feverish this morning.
That looks delicious.
I think it's a bit of all three actually, not one in isolation.
It is absolutely true we build for ourselves first. We solve the problems that WE have. Secondly, yes, our work is deterministically verifiable. And thirdly, even though we are more each forward we still have laggards in our industry.

the heart of open source is human
I literally cannot remember the last like I authed the gh CLI... My local agents use it every day and have never run into an issue, no idea what I did differently.
Hey Scott, to answer your first question directly, yes I get it and no, I don't think you ever (fully) get over it.
Your points are all incredibly valid, tell your buddy Terry that from someone who has been in the industry longer than him (but not as long as you) that its super normal.
20.7x the we pack compiler but that hasn't been in the discussion for years now. I wonder what it's speed up is against the application builder.
Cool! I should do this for tech.trellis.org!
I'll see if I can come visit my sister who lives there around that time!
How long are you in Van for?
Next time we can make a stop in Whistler! Not as great of skiing as the interior of BC (in my opinion... don't tell any Vancouverites that though) but still great!
Maybe I will come stop by Van when you are there! I have a concert on the 27th in Penticton but maybe I come over there after!
