I’ll write up a more detailed review once I’ve organized my thoughts more, but it was very good and is the kind of timey-wimey story a lot of people will enjoy.

worth remembering, David Lynch directed “fix your hearts or die” specifically at transphobes. it wasn’t a generic “no mean people allowed” statement, it was said by his Twin Peaks character in defense of a trans woman he cared for and deeply respected.

OMG, this incursion memory… I never expected to experience cringe in this game.

It’s not fair to all the other Code Vein 2 companions that each and every interaction with a certain companion makes me love them more— the others are never going to be able to keep up. Like, it’s not even a contest for favorite anymore.

And my complaint is that they were silencing discussion LGBT issues (especially trans issues) because you are allowed to connect those to any larger political situation in the US. Which is impossible, because things aren’t happening in a vacuum.
