As a challenge to myself for #MTG deckbuilding, I picked out a card I owned that made me think of my wife most and asked her to pick one to represent me, then I would make a deck based on both.
I picked Elusive Otter. She picked...Boommobile. I'm not sure what that means, but I like the challenge!
My paladin had a simple necklace with two copper and two silver pieces attached. They reflected the burial rites of the order he had been part of and been left behind by.
One of my favorite RP moments was when he used the coins for a fallen party member, giving his potential salvation for her.
As a full disclosure, Shadowmoor/Eventide was the first Magic set I started playing, so I will be biased in my opinions.
That being said, just inject all the Lorwyn Eclipsed stuff straight into my veins. It's the first set in a long while that I want to actually collect it all.
We had a fun one off where we rolled 3d6 straight for stats, and I think only one of my rolls was above a 10 the whole time.
Afterwards, the others asked about my character (they used theirs for the next campaign, I...didn't), and I went, "Oh, he got a paper cut and bled out."

One of my to-do items is that I need to go back and redo the layout for some of my older Subclasses: the Musical entries.
Before, they looked like baby's first digital creation.
But now, I can make them look like baby's first digital creation... but ✨️FANTASY✨️
Huge improvement, I know.
Now that it's 2026, I'm stating for the record my goal is to be more creative, more part of the TTRPG space this year.
More writing, more charity events, more voice acting, more posting here, more self promo, more collaboration, more Magic decks, the works.
