Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin was an interesting read for me. I liked several of the characters and its snapshot of 1970s San Francisco, but I struggled with the rhythm. However, I can see why it has a devoted following. fable.co/review/21c08... #BookSky

The cover for Hotties in Art
If you need some last minute inspiration, it's quite easy to dress up as Hotties In Art for World Book Day.
Just look at this chap channeling the *very handsome* cover guy.

Not watched the #BritAwards for years β it got to the stage where I needed Wikipedia to understand who everyone was. But Iβm genuinely delighted Olivia Dean swept the board. βRein Me Inβ and βMan I Needβ have been on my Apple Music repeat, which Iβm choosing to believe keeps me officially βcurrentβ.

While in London today I popped into the V&A to see Michelangeloβs David β and I was genuinely blown away by the scale of it.
Itβs extraordinary to think this was carved over 500 years ago, yet still feels so alive.

At its heart, My Friends is about the friendships we have when we are young and still figuring out who we are. The friends who believe in you when you donβt believe in yourself. The ones who quietly become your anchor. fable.co/review/e8de4... #BookSky

Just finished Burying Jericho by @whusseyauthor.bsky.social. Another brilliant, twisty instalment in the Scott Jericho series, with a gripping mystery, strong sense of place, and plenty of unexpected turns. Full review β‘οΈ www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

I know you shouldnβt compare, but after watching The Traitors UK, the Irish version feels a bit low-rent. You can definitely tell the budget wasnβt there. That said, I think Siobhan is a fabulous choice as host.
