i'm now back at the dorm with running water and electricity, and all of my immediate family are safe and accounted for. these 2 things make me extremely privileged compared to a whole lot of people atm. technically i should be focusing on my studies, but i could do nothing but doomscrolling -
life update: i was done with the thesis proposal exam last week and gonna try drawing again now that my workload's somewhat lighter but
a) my dog suddenly became very ill, which led to me going home and
b) becoming one of the witnesses to the worst flood my hometown's ever seen in like 50 years -
