And finally the "baby" Yashica 44LM which just arrived today, that's as cute and smol as a TLR can be.

Then the sleek and spry Yashica-mat 124G that I recently acquired from a delightful floof on the West Coast. Its photos are the equal in quality of the Mamiya, but in a smaller and lighter package.

First, the elder statesman Mamiya C220- with its changeable lenses and its brick-like demeanor- that I've had for a while.

I've been doing things over the Winter.

It's large format bellows replacement time!

Checking in after the holiday season- yes, I'm still alive, and everything is well.

I'm going to be doing some RA-4 color prints and enlargements during the "cold months" before getting back out in the field once the weather breaks in March.

For the curious: Ilford Delta 3200 @ ISO 1000, Mamiya C220, 80mm @ f/32, orange filter.

After taking a brief break following the Fall landscape season, I decided to break out a camera for our first good snowfall. Nothing remarkable, but it was a beautiful day.

I was honestly not impressed. It definitely has that old-school cinematic look in terms of contrast and color balance, but the film is so difficult to process in a home lab that artifacts are almost guaranteed.

After replacing the bellows and some light seals, and generally checking focus and shutter speeds, I now feel confident enough in this critter to put a roll of color film through it soon.

So, I have a confession. Part of my recent lack of posts is due to getting my new camera up to snuff.

Test shots from my new Voigtländer Bessa II w/ Color-Heliar 105mm, shot on Rollei RPX 400 w/ yellow filter.

Just finished processing 2 x 220 rolls of ECN-2. This is IMAX film lightly repackaged for still photography.

I'm glad I've tried it, but I don't think that I'll be doing going through that hassle again any time soon.
