But alas, the seas are rough to ever want to travel through them again and I shouldn't. I'll wait patiently until the waves calm to find a better game in this genre as I've said before. Or just a better game in general.

I've been trying to find other games to play and hang out with others to prevent myself from ever touching this game again. There's probably other companies and developers that make better extraction shooters and aren't complete pieces of shit like Nikita and Battlestate Games.

So, to say I've officially Escaped from Tarkov? Yes. To anyone that plays this game, do yourselves the favor of kicking it and staying far away from it. Never open it again, it's an addictive game that will make you want more and you shouldn't give into it. I should've stopped a while back.

Hors and his 715 team have videos on their Youtube channel interviewing pro-Russian separatists and several posts from other social media platforms in support of the Russian invasion. There's even posts of them BEING in the war. It's fucking disgusting.

The cherry on top of this is that there's even evidence of the developer, Nikita Buyanov, actively supporting a Russian invader group known as the 715 Team and is friends with someone named Roma Hors. They are seen in several videos together regarding Tarkov interviews and Q&As.

The people who bought this game have to pay more money just to play their stupid game on Steam. So on top of the $150-$250 dollars they spent, now it's 50 dollars more to transfer their account onto Steam. Holy shit, that is greasy and greedy as fuck.

Over 8 years of this game being in beta and it still is (with the announcement that it'd be releasing 1.0 on Steam this November) which makes it longer than DayZ which was nearly 5 years of the game being in early access. This game for almost A DECADE has been in development hell.

The company EVEN TRIED to scrub that info regarding future DLC off their website and the Wayback Machine prevented that info from being lost. Lo and behold, they were attempting to fan out the flames they have started over a pile of gasoline. It was not a pretty sight.

They also tried scamming the same people who bought the highest tier of their game for $150 (which stated that the buyers of that tier would be guaranteed future DLC) by telling them their standalone dedicated PVE mode would be $250 dollars more. The community was fucking pissed.

2018, I was 17 when I first bought this game cause I thought it was unique, cool, and had features that I liked with this game. This game was in early stages of alpha where it was strictly hardcore PVP. This was before the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Didn't see that coming, wish I did.

I do not recommend anyone get the game for the biggest but I'm gonna say (and others have said) that is clear as day. The developer has connections and ties with the Russian military in supplying them during the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Anyone who is considering getting this game, just don't.

Got real tired of this whole month of eating the same breakfast over and over and it consisted of greasy eggs, sausage, and beans. Had to treat myself this morning at 5 AM and got myself a nice sampler platter consisting of eggs, breakfast sausage, hashbrowns, bacon, cheese, and pancakes. Felt great
