Beat Resident Evil 9 today. The horror/action split really worked for me. Grace and Leon feel remarkably different. The story maybe didn't take the biggest swings, but I thoroughly enjoyed the ride from front to back. A good-ass popcorn game and grotesquely gorgeous besides.

Folks, we’re at it again. I made my own demi-glace a few weeks back and froze it into cubes. Now I use a couple to deglaze the Dutch oven after browning my onions, and hoo boy. Game changer.

THAT is the problem with "better than nothing". MTPE fan TL is worse than nothing. It's actively detrimental to the games supposedly being translated and the community at large.

It makes players associate the game with slop.

It forestalls good-faith translations.

It wastes everyone's time.
