Retired liberal distressed and frustrated over the results of the last election and the direction our country is headed. Animal lover. Love books and a good mystery. Previously deleted Twitter and FB and used to be a political news junkie.
I do not understand how anyone can possibly think anyone in this administration is competent in any way, shape or form. Itβs hard to comprehend the amount of damage done to our country in a little over a year. Whatβs worse is this is probably just the tip of the iceberg.
At least 175 people, mostly children, died in the Feb. 28 missile strike, Iranian officials have said.
Another word you might use for it is "looting".
"This appears to be the first administration to take such widespread advantage of taxpayer-funded military housing to accommodate political appointees who do not have a direct connection to the military..."

People will now be driving to work entirely to pay for the money to drive to work.

BREAKING: As many as 150 U.S. troops have been wounded in the war with Iran, according to sources familiarβfar higher than the Pentagonβs publicly disclosed figure of just 8 seriously wounded troops. The true toll of this war is already far worse than the public has been told. (Reuters)
We're spending $1 billion per day on war as millions of working people struggle to get by.
Meanwhile, America's ultra-rich have never been richer.
Blumenthal after getting briefed on Iran: "We seem to be on a path toward deploying American troops on the ground in Iran to accomplish any of the potential objectives here. There's also the specter of active Russian aid to Iran putting in danger American lives ... China also may be assisting Iran"
Bush on why he quit golf during the war: βI didnβt want some mom whose son may have died to see the commander-in-chief playing golf. I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best I can. And I think playing golf during a war sends the wrong signal.β

It's difficult to end a war if you don't know why you started it in the first place.
Trump bragged Putin was βimpressedβ by his moves in Iran. Hours later the Kremlin embarrassed him. Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Trump didnβt even ask about a ceasefire in Ukraine during their call.

So heβs surrendering without accomplishing any of his stated objectives while declaring victory. Exactly what we said would happen.
It was a US strike that killed 165 schoolgirls. Mostly aged 7-12.
While it was likely unintentional, the decision to strike a military target in a densely populated civilian area was not.
Yes, difficult decisions have to be made in war.
I donβt trust this bloodthirsty regime to make good ones.
Wut?

Foxβ¦.the real βfake newsβ.
βA country that can instantly fund endless wars but debates every dime for healthcare and education doesn't have a budget issue--it has a values issue."
A billion dollars a day going towards the war in Iran so far.
He seems pretty sensitive whenever someone confronts him with evidence that Putin might not be our friend. Even when Fox brings it up.
Weβre 7 days into something that looks like a war, feels like a war, costs like a war, has the same economic effects of a war, but weβre not supposed to call it a war because it would require the President to follow that annoying thing called the United States Constitution.
Heβll be assistant to the special envoy lol.
Calling in the Clintonβs in for a closed-door testimony while ignoring other widely implicated individuals is no mistake. This is an active, and massive, cover-up.
Thou shalt not kill schoolchildren to distract from your crimes against children.
Itβs really crazy how much Iβve been agreeing with Rep. Thomas Massie recently!
The costs of this Iran war debacle will likely be more than the cost of extending the ACA health insurance subsidies.
If you asked Americans, which do you want: another war in the Middle East or lower health care costs at home, is the margin 90 to 10? 95 to 5?
So now that Hillary Clinton has testified to the Epstein Files, the other 900 hundred MEN named in the same files are being called up to testify, right?
Hereβs a thought for James Comer.
There IS a First Lady who has had a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. And itβs not Hillary Clinton.
It might be worthwhile for Comer to subpoena the First Lady who actually knows Epstein.
You know, just to see what she knows.
