and yes. this starts with self love and unlearning shame. the easier we find it to love ourselves flaws and all, the easier we can love others the same way.

we grow best when we grow together but we can only grow together if we can accept each other flaws and all first. progress is important but can only be found when different people can accept each other and agree to progress together. that's what it's all about.

community is not found in group think or mob mentality or echo chambers, it's found through the nuances of being human and what similarities can be found in each unique set of experiences. it's about relationships and feelings, accepting ppl as they are and asking for no more or less

i want ppl to live their truths and i live mine and we can still hold hands and sing kumbaya together (note: opinions =/= categorizing people into those who do and don't "deserve" to live their truths and human rights)

this is why i just dgaf when even my friends have a vastly different opinion than me because i think that's great. having different perspectives is what makes us unique!! i don't want ppl to change their opinion to fit mine and i don't want ppl to change themselves to fit my sensibilities

i know my flaws but i don't try to hide them because they're part of who i am. i don't want to be likable all the time but i do want to be myself 100% of the time. because at the end of the day i will remember who i was in every situation more than the ppl who see only bits and pieces of me

we all have our moments and moods and issues and even the ppl who try can't fully hide them. so accept them! embrace our full and flawed selves. we're on this rock only once we might as well see what it—and we—have to offer. the internet is a microcosm of but still part of that experience

we're all a little insufferable and annoying in our own ways because we're all human and the metric for what someone finds insufferable will be different from someone else! we might as well be our authentic selves as loud as we might be... the people who love us will love us for it
