Iran has now been largely offline for 18 hours, with an #Internet shutdown put into place following strikes by the US & Israel. However, small amounts of Web & DNS traffic are still getting through, and IPv4 routes remain available, suggesting some users and sites are allowlisted for access.
In Israel, Cloudflare Radar shows a clear jump in Internet traffic this morning as people followed the news. Traffic rose nearly 50% after 06:15 UTC compared with the previous week, a pattern typical during fast-moving events that draw nationwide attention.
News reports confirm missile strikes/interceptions this AM across other parts of the Middle East β including UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait β after U.S. & Israeli strikes on Iran. No Internet outages seen, but Cloudflare Radar shows traffic spikes (vs the previous week) in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar.
Starting around 07:00 UTC, Iranian networks began withdrawing portions of their BGP routes. By 10:30 UTC, the amount of IPv4 space announced globally had fallen even further, a pattern consistent with a nationwide Internet shutdown (as seen in January 2026).
Internet traffic in Iran is close to zero across all major regions. Thereβs a near-complete shutdown in Tehran, Fars, Isfahan, Alborz Province, and Razavi Khorasan, among others.
Internet connectivity in Iran is now in a near-complete shutdown, down about 98% vs the previous week. The disruption began around 07:00 UTC, following reports of military strikes β and in past incidents the government has responded with nationwide Internet shutdowns.

An issue affecting their main network connections took FLOW Grenada completely offline for several hours. An initial ~75% drop in traffic occurred at 15:30 yesterday, with loss of announced IPv6 space & it was offline between 00:00-03:30 UTC today when IPv4 address space announcements disappeared.
Internet traffic in the Leiria and SantareΜm regions remains 10β20% below normal since Jan 28. After Storm Kristin, additional storms have hit Portugal, slowing power-line repairs and keeping connectivity unstable.
